Many weight watchers swear by the efficacy of following a high fiber diet foods plan. Does it work? Well, if you see the numerous postings on the Internet, it is safe to assume that it worked for some but not for others. This is hardly surprising because our bodies are all very different. Here, I am going to briefly touch on two benefits of high fiber diet food: (a) fibre is needed by our body for healthy functioning of various organs. A shortage of it might lead to gas, colon cancer, high cholesterol level, blood sugar level goes through the roof, and constipation. In the case of weight loss, it works because fibre is relatively difficult to digest and chew. Because of that, it makes a person feel full all the time. This of course addresses the problem of overeating, read weight loss!
